Dales Countryside Museum
The museum is owned and run by the Yorkshire Dales National Park and is situated at the old Railway Station in Hawes just behind the famous Hawes Ropemakers. It hosts a variety of attractions including a stationary steam and carriage, shop, cafe and cycle hire shop.
Richmond Castle
Built originally in Norman times to forge a stronghold on the area, Richmond Castle not only commands stunning views over the Yorkshire Dales, but is one of the greatest Norman fortresses still standing today.
Blacksheep Brewery

Hardraw Force circular
7.2 miles. Easy circular walk. Walk down the lane to cross the main road and pick up field paths across to Sedbusk. You will then continue past Simonstone Hall and drop down to Hardraw Force (Green Dragon Pub). From here you will pick up the Pennine Way back to Hawes then proceed back to Burtersett. […]
Aysgill Force

Ingleborough
Ingleborough is one the famous Yorkshire peaks and stands at 723 meters and the walk is approx 11.25 miles. This walks starts at the roadside parking on the B6255 Ingleton to Hawes road near the Old Hill Inn. A long and challenging walk with good clear signposted path onto a large flat summit.
